The payment was declined by the buyer's bank due to reason 54 - Expired card
This rejection message indicates that the used card has an expired validity date.
- For your information, the expiration date entered by the buyer is recorded in the Scellius Back Office.
- If you notice that the validity date is not expired, that definitely means that the buyer has entered an incorrect expiry date.
- In case of a refund, this code can be returned if the card has been disabled via the initial payment. Only the cardholder’s bank can provide a specific answer about this rejection.
