To send an email to the buyer if a deferred payment is declined:
- Sign in to the Merchant Back Office.
- Go to the Settings > Notification rules menu.
- Click Create a rule at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on Advanced notification.
- Select E-mail sent to the buyer for Type of notification.
- Click on Next >.
- Check the Transaction declined during the automatic authorization process box.
- Click on Next >.
- Enter the rule name in the Rule reference parameter.Example: “Deferred payment refused email”.
- Click on Create.
