A payment that was initially accepted but now has the status Canceled may be due to one of two reasons:
- A manual cancellation by the merchant.
- An automatic cancellation of Scellius.
Cancellation by the merchant
The merchant can cancel the payment before it is deposited into the bank. If you're unsure, be sure to check the transaction history.
Cancellation of Scellius
If the buyer made a split payment (a payment using multiple payment methods). If the first payment is accepted but the second is declined, we will automatically cancel the first payment.
