What Happens to Other Payments if an Installment Payment is refused

For installment payments:

  • If the first payment is refused at the time of payment, all other payments will also be declined.
  • If the first payment is accepted and the second is refused, the remaining payments will remain pending authorization and may be accepted if the decline is not due to fraud.
  • If the first payment is a deferred payment that is initially accepted but then refused at the time of authorization, the remaining payments will remain pending authorization and may be accepted if the decline is not related to fraud.
