Since PayPal version 2, the Merchant Back Office now displays code 149 - The payment session has expired for PayPal payments.

This code appears when the buyer is redirected to the payment page but takes no action (abandonment, inactivity, closing the page, etc.) before the session expires.

This is therefore not a real increase in the number of expired PayPal transactions. These transactions already existed previously, but they were not visible in the Merchant Back Office.
